We meet our, uh, hero, Alabaster Soliloquy, his drunken older sister, his tsuntsun mother, and his dumb-and-sweaty childhood friend. Oh, and the GothLoli freak who's stalking him.
Alabaster enlists Stackleford's help to learn more about why Vivian Darkbloom is stalking him. Cerise turns out to have hobbies other than drinking.
When Vivian steals Alabaster's quiz bowl training materials, he sets out on a roadtrip for her house with Whitney and Cerise. On the way, something big happens. Back home, Vivian confronts Alabaster, and we meet the harem's mysterious sixth girl - but maybe it would have been better if she stayed away.
With anime club's future on the line, Cerise begs Alabaster for help. At the Student Council's review panel, Rose puts them both under a virtual inquisition. Meanwhile, Whitney has some disturbing ideas about Cerise.
Alabaster helps Mom cook Dessert for Dinner, a weekly Soliloquy family tradition. Ms. Carte asks Alabaster for a blood sample, but while he's incapacitated, he gets attacked.
A humiliated Alabaster has a strange encounter in the shower. He and Whitney stage their revenge on Rose. Ms. Carte and Mom show their vulnerable sides.
Alabaster and Cerise have an impromptu family movie night, settling in to watch a hentai together.
Alabaster gets some protection, care of Ms. Carte. At a pep rally, Alabaster torments Rose. Ms. Carte takes Alabaster on a date, and he learns some surprising things about her.
Alabaster finds out the horrible truth about Cerise's webcam shows. Alabaster and Whitney continue toying with Rose.
Alabaster drills hard with Ms. Carte on the eve of his first quiz bowl game. David Darkbloom menaces Alabaster, but Vivian offers an olive branch. Mom tries on clothes for Alabaster, but his mind is elsewhere.
Alabaster's relationship with Ms. Carte goes deeper. His relationship with Cerise goes sour. His relationship with Vivian hits new highs. His relationship with Rose gets a little razzle-dazzle. His relationship with Mom gets a bit jerky. And his relationship with Whitney... stays the same. Whitney's just Whitney.
Alabaster comes clean to Mom about the danger he's in. Ms. Carte hatches a plan to get Alabaster and his loved ones to safety with a former colleague in Palau. Alabaster and Whitney pay a surprise visit to Rose's house, but Alabaster gives her the very last thing she expects.
Dinner descends into all-out war as Alabaster manages to say the wrong thing to every girl in his life. No matter, though: David Darkbloom brings real war to Alabaster's doorstep, just before Alabaster can flee to Palau.
Alabaster's past transgressions come back to haunt him. Or he comes back to haunt his past transgressions. Time flows a bit weird in this place.
Everyone goes to the beach! For a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long time!
Alabaster comes back to California with a plan to strike back at David Darkbloom's evil schemes.
